WHY WE EXIST

70 Years of Proven Impact
at Scale.

Founded in 1955 by Fr. Rafael Garcia-Herreros, Minuto de Dios has spent seven decades delivering measurable, transformational change in Colombia’s most underserved communities — through housing, education, healthcare, and emergency relief.

Today, as a registered 501(c)(3) operating across the United States, we invite U.S. donors, foundations, and institutional partners to multiply that impact. Every dollar invested through our American chapter reaches vetted, high-impact programs with 70 years of accountability behind them.

Why Partner With Us

Minuto de Dios is one of Latin America’s most trusted and transparent nonprofits. Our U.S. 501(c)(3) chapter was established to connect us based donors donors and grant-makers directly with high-impact programs in Colombia — removing friction and maximizing the reach of every contribution.

We offer institutional donors full programmatic reporting, site visit access, and co-branding opportunities. Individual donors give with confidence: 100% of restricted gifts are deployed to designated programs, with zero diversion.
