Who are we?

El Minuto de Dios is a non-profit social and evangelizing organization created by Rafael García Herreros, a Colombian Catholic priest, from a television program of the same name, started in January 1955 in Bogotá, Colombia, and committed to human dignity and the integral and sustainable development of people, communities and territories.

On several occasions, with the support of Colombians living in the United States, Father García Herreros held Million Banquets in Washington, New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Houston, Miami, Tampa and West Palm Beach; and also in Toronto and Montreal, Canada.
In 2003, under the leadership of priest Diego Jaramillo and priest Camilo Bernal, “Minuto de Dios Corporation” was created in the United States, under the laws of the State of Florida, in the United States, in order to manage aid for the social programs of El Minuto de Dios in Colombia.
